These Fourteen Lives We've Created

Biography

Around 1995, the general idea was conceived: a group formed by Noby Nobriga and some yet-to-be-discovered female vocalist creating songs dealing with love and relationships. The project was slow to create and an appropriate voice for the lead vocals was never found. So, Noby continued on, alone, to produce pieces of music here and there, morphing away from the original plan into more of an electronica group which became known as The Noby Nobriga Project. Four years later, in 1999, Noby began thinking about reviving his original vision of a relationship-focused group featuring a female voice. A name for the group was decided, These Fourteen Lives We've Created. This line was taken from a prose piece he had written earlier entitled "Inner Thoughts on Life." However, it wasn't until five years later, in 2005, that the ideas began to formulate for Noby Nobriga. Inspired by a number of new music, movies, and literature experienced during the past years, he began writing and designing the first 14 Lives album, "These Fourteen Lives We've Created."

Now, These Fourteen Lives We've Created is a creatively-collaborative effort lead by Noby Nobriga with support from Rusty Spell (of Love and Letters Music) and Tommy Burton (of the band Lately David). The featured female voice still has yet to be found. However, they are expecting a 2008 album release under the Amor Musica label.
